We know it can be tough to compare student housing options, so we’ve put together an honest review of The Mark, another off-campus property in Midtown.

The Basics

Before we dive into the details of The Mark’s offerings, let’s cover some basics to give you a better understanding of the property:

Location

The Mark, a 28-story student housing building on the corner of Spring Street and 10th Street, is a 10-minute walk from Georgia Tech’s east campus and Tech Square. It’s also close to many restaurants, a Publix grocery store, and popular dessert spots like Insomnia and Tiff’s Treats.

Spring Street is a popular location for student housing options, with other buildings like University House, Square on Fifth, and Whistler located between The Mark and Tech Square.

The Mark offers a variety of amenities, including outdoor courtyards, a rooftop pool and hot tub, a fitness center, an arcade and gaming room, private and communal study spaces, and a computer lab, providing a balanced and convenient living experience for residents.

Parking Options

At the time of publication, on-site parking is available on a first-come, first-serve basis for an additional $125 per month for residents who plan to use their vehicle to explore Atlanta. Parking is standard and there is bike and scooter storage available.

Pricing and Floorplans

The Mark offers an array of floor plans, from studios to two-story, six-bedroom apartments, including studio, 1×1, 2×2, 3×3, 4×4, 5×5, 6×6 and 4×4 penthouse-style apartments.

As of October 2024, The Mark’s rates for the 2024–2025 period vary from $1075 to $1725 per person per month, depending on the unit type. Please note that rates may be subject to change as part of the tier system commonly used by student housing apartments. Many apartments raise rental rates as units fill up. If you’re looking to bring your pet to campus, The Mark is also pet friendly. You will be charged a one time pet deposit of $300 and recurring monthly pet fee of $25.

All floor plans are fully furnished with stainless steel kitchen appliances, living room furniture (including a TV), bedroom furniture (including a personal desk), and full-sized washer and dryer units.
