Rambler v. Whistler: Which Student Apartment is Right for Me?

Making a decision on where to live near Georgia Tech can feel like an overwhelming task. When comparing everything from price to location and amenities, it can be hard to decide which property is the best fit for you and your roommates. 

At Rambler Atlanta, we are confident that our variety of floor plans, trendy amenities and prime location will suit the needs of any Georgia Tech student. With that being said, we understand the importance of comparing all of your options before making a final decision.

Location 

Location can make a huge difference on your overall living experience. Both Rambler and Whistler are conveniently located in East Midtown near the Scheller College of Business across Fifth Street Bridge from the heart of campus. 

Rambler 

Rambler is located at 736 Peachtree NE, less than five minutes from Tech Square, Scheller College of Business and the Barnes & Noble. Rambler is just past the CODA building, a mixed-use space with a popular food hall housing a variety of cuisines and coffee shops. It is also close to other popular student apartments such as The Standard and The Connector.

Welcome to Rambler Atlanta, student apartments in Midtown Atlanta near Georgia Tech.

Whistler 

Whistler, located at 859 Spring Street NW, is also near Tech Square and the Barnes & Noble. Whistler is near Tiff’s Treats, LA Fitness, Insomnia and Taco Bell. It is also close to other student properties such as Square on Fifth, UHouse, Hub on Campus and The Mark.

Rambler

Rambler offers many floor plan options ranging from studios to 6×6 layouts. View current pricing and availability on our floor plans page.

Units come fully furnished with stainless steel appliances, premium Wi-Fi internet, full-sized washers and dryers, a wall-mounted smart TV and more.

Whistler 

Whistler offers the following floor plan options: studio, studio bunk+, 1×1, 2×2, 2×2 bunk+, 3×3, 3×3 bunk+, 4×3, 4×4, 4×4 bunk+, 5×5, and 5×5 bunk+. 

As of the publication date in November 2024, the rates for 2025 – 2026 vary from $950 to $2075 per person per month, depending on the unit type.* You can see the most up-to-date pricing and availability on Whistler’s floor plans page.

Units come fully furnished with GE stainless steel appliances, premium Wi-Fi, full-sized washers and dryers, a wall-mounted smart TV and more.
